About us

Ferrometall AS is a nationwide wholesaler of steel and metal.

The company was founded in 2010 after the merger of Trønderstål AS and Leadenhall Metals AS into one single company. Both of these companies were strong operators in the Norwegian market, each of them within their own niche markets. By joining forces, the two firms complemented each other and consolidated a solid network of suppliers from their own networks. Ferrometall thus offers a very extensive range of steel and metal products, to customers in Norway and throughout the rest of Scandinavia.

In addition to our head office in Drammen, the company has a sales office in Trondheim, which is also home to our Finance Department. Ferrometall AS presently has 7 permanent employees.

The company has warehouses in Horten, Moss and Kristiansand.

At year-end 2021, Ferrometall had a turnover of MNOK 443.  The company has good profitability and solid liquidity.

60% of the company is owned Vegard Holmen Holding AS and 40% by Storgata 74 AS.
